As part of the FIA mission to improve the safety standards within the Formwork Industry, advocate and represent the Formwork Industry in Australia, we are pleased to work with FIA Partners Hilti, to bring you a safety focused event, designed to educate, bring the industry together to network, share best practice and develop business contacts across the discipline of Formwork.

In this session we will cover the full application of post-installing rebar and analyse potential areas of increasing speed and improving safety.

One of Hilti's engineers will also cover how the National Construction Code (NCC) references rebar design in the Australian anchor standard AS5216:2018. and demonstrate how Hilti technology and products will improve productivity, save money and increase safety on site.

If you’re looking to extend, join or strengthen walls, slabs, columns or beams, then post-installed rebar systems can help with new or existing builds from residential buildings to bridges.

Post-installed rebar connections are anchorages and splices that are fixed into place by adhesive. They’re easy and fast to use. And they’re at least as strong as cast-in place reinforcement bars, as proven in tests by European Technical Approvals (TR023). So you can design post-installed rebars into your build using the same principles as for any reinforced concrete design.

In addition to the above, we will also demonstrate the advanced layout and detection equipment as productivity drivers for your business.
